Fantastic place, ticked all the boxes very friendly, clean, lovely breakfast and good location. Both the landlord and landlady were knowledgeable about the area and made some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Well stocked bar with snacks.

Lovely clean and well resourced en-suite room great breakfast and a good central location. The pool was clean warm & inviting and Julia & Jamie were friendly & informative with a team of staff who were ‘on it’ at breakfast. Will stay again by choice thanks very muchly ❤️

WOW! We’ve just got back from a beautiful 10 days stay at the Cimon. Julia & Jamie are fantastic hosts, so welcoming! Beautiful breakfast spreads with great choices. Family room was beautiful & very homely. Swimming pool was a hit & a good temperature. Close distance to the sea, town & bus routes are accessible from the hotel!! We thoroughly enjoyed the communal areas, with the very addictive jigsaw that you couldn’t just walk past! Something for everyone in the lounge. We shall be back :)

Firstly thank you Julia and Jamie for making our stay so memorable a holiday is always a very special occasion so when you can find somewhere to stay and feel so at home it helps a long way to making it a good time. Initially, the help provided in booking our stay was much appreciated and a reminder that it is always best to book direct if possible as you get to speak to your hosts and get the best rate. Upon arrival, we were met with a friendly welcome and a really helpful verbal tour of the local area where it was good to visit, walk and eat, etc My son quickly wanted to hit the pool where we would spend many hours over the next week. We were like a couple of kids making up games and just living the dream. Not many people can say they have been chased around by a Croc in the UK!!! The whole property has obviously been lovingly put together, and no photos can do it justice as you just can't get the warm and loving ambience it brings. The room was immaculate it was spotlessly cleaned and furnished to a very high standard with all the little lovely touches like a top up of hot chocolate every day for George to enjoy while we had our bed time story. Breakfast was 5 star in the lovely surroundings with Julie, Jamie, and the lady who I rudely forgot to ask her name, taking the time to make sure everything was spot on and chatting to the guests leaving a room of happy people sharing their holiday stories. We will certainly be returning as we really have found walks we want to do again and places we want to visit again and all the things we ran out of time to do. If your idea of a holiday includes having a place, you can feel at home and yearn to return to pick up where you left off making memories and you want to stay in the Torbay area you won't be disappointed. When booking a holiday the reviews are the first thing I look at as I want to find a place like The Cimon which will ensure our stay is a happy one it really ticks all the boxes and then some more and we left with memories that will last a life time and have a place we can call home in Torquay when we look to return. An excellent hotel run by a lovely couple, Jamie and Julia. The breakfast was enough to get you way past lunch time. My room and the rest of the hotel was spotlessly clean with warm and friendly decor. Julia is very knowledgeable about Torquay and can tell you all of the places of interest to visit. A really enjoyable stay.

My family and I spent a fantastic few days at The Cimon. The family room comfortably fitted all four of us, with a lovely sea view. Beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, and the heated pool was at a level which allowed my boys to spend a happy few hours in it at the end of each day. The hotel is located just over a 10 minute walk from the centre, with great views of the bay as you walk in. Jason and Julia made our stay feel like we were visiting old friends with a warm welcome and approachable manner throughout our stay. We look forward to returning.
